As a person who has navigated the mental health space in the US both professionally and as a patient, there’s a piece that’s seemingly almost always left behind in the care we give and receive. We talk about the importance of therapy alongside medication, when necessary, in attaining mental and emotional wellness — but what do we do for our bodies? We seem to forget that our minds live inside our bodies. Taking medication, going to therapy, building community, it can all be incredibly important — but we can’t leave the body behind.

Lunavive’s approach to yoga is an attempt to answer and fill this gap: union of the body, mind and spirit through intuitive movement, breath, bodily expression, and the release of stored energy.

Rooted in nervous system-aware practices, our offerings invite you to return to yourself —gently, intentionally, and on your own terms.

At Lunavive, we believe in:

  • Presence — not flexibility or performance

  • Learning to feel and listen to the body with compassion

  • Blending whatever works for you—movement, breath, stillness, meditation, dance, laughter, etc.

Each offering is grounded in the belief that transformation begins within—and that healing is most powerful when it happens slowly, with care.

Trained in Ubud, Bali, by East + West Yoga, Jamie is a 200 hr Hatha-Vinyasa RYT that has been practicing yoga for over 8 years. Jamie also received additional training in Pelvic Floor Yoga with Reunify Yoga in San Diego in 2025, and is currently in training to receive an End-of-Life Doula Specialist certification at the University of Vermont. Prior to finding yoga and meditation practices, Jamie was a trained dancer and choreographer, making music and artistic expression an important part of her yoga style. Yoga is an integral piece of Jamie’s journey of healing and living authentically, and Lunavive is a safe space to support you in whatever journey you may be on.
